Deceased Estates Valuations
These valuations are completed on a Rev 246 form and accompanied with a fully motivated valuation report and are charged and costed in Terms of the Appraisers Tariff as per Government Gazette notice 34762 Vol.557. Purpose of these Appraisals are required in dutiable Estates, Estates with minors, establishing Executors remuneration, division of Estate assets to beneficiaries.

These valuations also include the Knowledge, Experience, Ability (Knowledge, Experience, Ability) of movable assets i.e. vehicles, antiques, collectables, art, jewellery, coins, aircraft, plant and machinery.

Insolvent Estates Valuations
These valuations are conducted on both Immovable and Movable property. The costs of these valuations are based on the Tariff as laid by the South African Council for Property Valuer’s Profession (SACPVP). The purpose of these valuations is to assist and advise Creditors, Trustees and Liquidators and all relevant parties with an estimate market related value as to what the assets would realise in the open market if exposed for sale.
Divorce Matters Valuations
These valuations are conducted on both Immovable and Movable property. The costs of these valuations are based on the Tariff as laid by the South African Council for Property Valuer’s Profession (SACPVP). The purpose of these valuations is to advise and estimate value to both parties with reference to a market related value as to what the assets would realise if exposed for sale in the open market (division of joint estate).
Repossessions Valuations
These valuations are primarily conducted to alleviate possible litigation by a Creditor against the Debtor for selling the asset at below market related value. It is essential that these valuations, as is the case in all valuations, are conducted by an individual who has Knowledge, Experience, Ability (Knowledge, Experience, Ability).
Capital Gains Tax Valuations
These valuations are conducted on Immovable property and only on primary and secondary residences. These valuations need to be historical valuations based on information as of at October 2001. They are primarily required to establish value as of at this date in formulating the capital gains tax (CGT) payable to SARS on the sale of the property.

The costs of these valuations are based on the Tariff as laid by the South African Council for Property Valuer’s Profession (SACPVP).

Insurance Replacement Valuations
These valuations are primarily used to establish replacement costs of both immovable and movable property and are essentially used in assisting the Insurance industry, Body Corporates and all parties requiring replacement cost valuations as to the required replacement insurance of an asset both movable and immovable.
